Greetings Worthy One! One-Legged Heart Trilogy Disc#1 is now available to the general public. After two years of DIY work and some barebones financial support along the way, OLH Disc#1 was released at an artist reception hosted by the iconic 4th Street Studios in Santa Monica, California on June 8th, 2017. It was a special event and a fantastic night to remember, with studio owner Kathleen Wirt inviting the coolest crowd of LA hipsters to listen and celebrate this historic cultural premiere.
As OLH videos played on the courtyard walls, fans were treated to a cornucopia of culinary treats and fine libations that miraculously never ran out, despite the insatiable appetites of some music industry people. Inside the studio, guests sank into comfy Victorian-era couches for closer listening as the nine songs of Disc#1 looped through 4th Street’s high-end monitors for plus two hours. The studio walls displayed about a dozen original paintings I’d done in tandem with the OLH production. I stood my ground as graciously as possible whilst receiving a barrage of sincere compliments on the work. Still, I am sure that OLH is not meant for every listener. You'll have to decide for yourself!During the past few months, we’d been working on a video to capture the nature and feel of OLH and here it is so check it out: --It is completed with the considerable creative skills of Italian videographer Francesca Bonci and the generous help of well-known US Beat chronicler Christopher Felver. I’ve just now made it available on youtube for the in-crowd subscribers. If you’ve been cool enough to support this production of OLH Disc#1 through your generous contributions, you can be sure that I have not forgotten about your cool OLH tee-shirt! I’m going to be moving on that and a few more perks pretty soon.
